Zero tolerance policy
Violating the following rules will result in an immediate and permanent ban. No warnings. No appeals.
- Cheating and exploits
- Using aimbots, wallhacks, radar hacks, scripts, or any third-party software that interacts with the game client to give an unfair advantage.
- Hate speech
- Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any form of severe discriminatory harassment in text or voice chat.
- Doxxing and threats
- Releasing private information or issuing threats of violence against another player.
Match integrity
ROMISH is built for competitive players. Disrupting the competitive experience is a ban-able offense.
- Griefing and throwing
- Intentionally losing rounds, team-killing, AFKing, or sabotaging your team.
- Queue dodging and leaving
- Repeatedly accepting matches and leaving the server, or going AFK during the map draft phase.
- Smurfing and account sharing
- Creating multiple accounts to manipulate the ELO system, or letting someone else play on your account.
Toxicity and voice comms
CS2 is a high-pressure game, and emotions run high. However, constant verbal abuse, mic-spamming, or bullying teammates is not allowed. These offenses typically operate on an escalation system: warning, then temporary ban, then permanent ban.
Escalation and enforcement
Our moderation team reviews reports and issues penalties based on severity:
- Warning: a message indicating your behavior violates the rules.
- Temporary ban: a suspension from matchmaking (typically 1 to 7 days).
- Permanent ban: permanent loss of access to the platform.
We reserve the right to skip steps depending on the severity of the offense. If you believe your ban was issued in error, you may submit an appeal.
